Staying at MantaRay Bay 1 is like staying in a very luxurious beachfront townhouse in Barbados ideally perched on a bluff above a secluded beach with uninterrupted views out to the Caribbean sea on the west coast. Set amidst tropical gardens with water features it's a private setting to die for.

Manta Ray Bay 1 is a 4,150 square foot, 4 bedroom accommodation in Barbados spread out on the ground floor and first floor with its own private plunge pool and finished to the highest specifications with travertine marble floors, coral mouldings, granite counter tops and all stainless steel appliances fitted in a fully equipped Italian Kitchen.

The furnishings are tastefully designed to compliment Caribbean living but with modern luxuries such as a 43" Plasma screen TV with full surround sound and cinema system, 26" flat screen televisions and DVD players in 3 of the bedrooms, wireless internet, satellite TV, music system with iPod connection and air conditioning throughout.

There are 2 large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms located on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor, which are connected by a spiral internal stairway. Large wrap around balconies and patios on both floors provide wonderful areas to relax. Although Manta Ray comes with its own oversized plunge pool there is also a larger infinity pool located a few yards away for use of guests. As there are only two of the 5 luxury apartments available for rental the others remain un occupied most of the year and therefore its very quiet here as a resident guest.

From the main pool in the stunning tropical garden is the Manta Ray guests' beach door that leads to the beach and the warm Caribbean sea. The small private gated complex of only 5 units is secure with its own security to ensure guests have a private stay. Its also located close to the world renowned "Cliff Restaurant" , Calabaza and Sassafras plus other great restaurants are less than a 5 minute drive away.

I can honestly say that we all had the most wonderful holiday in Barbados. Abby had organised everything that we asked of her, Jennifer is a really good cook and Monica kept the apartment spotless as well as doing our laundry. The apartment was and is everything you promised, large, quality finish and furnishings, location, swimming pool and perfect access to the beach. We enjoyed discovering Barbados both day and night and felt really 'at home' and sad to leave. But, we intend to return.
